Bushnell Laser Range Finder

If you've played golf for more than a few times, you know how time consuming it can be to get a good enough yardage. Thanks to laser range finders, you no longer have to measure range using the old fashioned way. Now you can get accurate results within seconds.

Nine out ten golf range finder owners own a Bushnell. Many golf players will testify to the quality and accuracy of Bushnell range finders. We'll talk about 3 types of range finders from Bushnell.

Bushnell PinSeeker 1600 Series with Slope

This series uses what the manfunacturer's call a "digital inclinometer". In plain English, it means that it adjusts its readings according to elevation. It doesn't just tell you the distance of the flag or any other object, it also tells you how you should play the shot.

As you may have guessed basing on the number, its range is 1600 yards, 100 yards better than its predecessor, the 1500. That measure is for reflective surfaces. For trees, its 1000 yards and 400 yards for flags.

It's also completely waterproof. Another thing I like about it is that it uses a standard 9-volt battery that will last for a year. No need to recharge! And you can buy the batteries from anywhere unlike proprietary batteries.

The downside is that since this range finder gives you an unfair advantage over those who don't use it, you can't use it in a tournament or any competition.

Bushnell Golf Pinseeker 1500 Tournament Edition Laser Rangefinder

Now if you want something that you can use in a tournament, this is the tool for  you. It may not adjust its calculations depending on the slope but it's also as precise as PinSeeker 1600 with Slope. It has everything the Bushnell 1600 with Slope has except for the "digital inclinometer".

Bushnell PinSeeker Medalist

The Bushnell Medalist also has Pinseeker and can be used in tournament play because it doesn't have the Slope capability. What I like about this model is that it's compact while still performing accurately and giving quality results. The best part? It's the most affordable!
